The phenomenon of shaking or mistracking of the concrete floor grinder may be caused by these three reasons: uneven grinding disc height, aging and damage of rubber pads, and incorrect axle level.
1. The grinding disc is uneven
Fault Symptom:
The machine runs violently, and the distance from any three points of each grinding disc to the bottom of the gearbox is inconsistent.
Cause of failure:
Since the grinding disc is connected with the upper flange with screws, the screws may loosen during use.
Solution:
Adjust the grinding disc fixing screw lock to change the height of the grinding disc, so that the distance from any three points of each grinding disc to the bottom of the gearbox is consistent.
2. The rubber mat is aging or damaged
Fault Symptom:
The machine runs violently and shakes, and the rubber pad is aged or broken.
Cause of failure:
1. The floor grinder hits hard objects (such as steel bars) when working. As a result, the rubber warranty will be broken or deformed.
2. Since the rubber mat is made of plastic, there will be oxidation. If the oxidation is very severe, the rubber mat will not be elastic (normally replaced once a year).
Solution:
Replace the rubber pads with new ones.
3. The axle level is incorrect
Fault Symptom:
The machine has a deviation phenomenon or is difficult to push or pull.
Cause of failure:
The height of different brands and models of abrasives is inconsistent, and the friction between different floors and abrasives is inconsistent, and the balance point of the machine will change.
Solution:
Adjust the axle height to change the balance point of the machine.
